
One of my stories was a finalist for The Katherine Anne Porter Prize and will be appearing in the Nimrod International Journal of Prose and Poetry. The issue, titled Spring/Summer 2016: Mirrors and Prisms, is coming out in May.
Here's a little taste of my story--
The house was built on granite. The granite reached beneath the water, under the seabed, beneath the mud and the clay. During low tide, pieces of it jutted up, penetrated the flat surface, creating slick, rocky paths out to sea.
